Answered Prayer

I am so grateful that God answers prayer. He is an awesome God.

My mother was on the list for Senior Housing for the past year. She started out 7th on the list and then Thursday we get a call telling us that there has been an opening. She gets to start moving on the 12th of January. She is so excited.

We have been praying that the Lord make a way for her to get moved from the country to town so she would be closer to her Doctors and things. God moves in His own time. I am glad for that because if He moved in my timing I would just mess it all up.

That praise chorus comes to mind.....God is so good. God is so good. God is so good. He's so good to me.

Being Called To Preach

It is an awesome thing when you finally stop and give in to the Lord when He tells you that he want's you to preach His word. That is what has happened to me this past August.

I have a great Pastor who has let me step behind the pulpit every other Wednesday night to preach the word of God. It is something I never thought I would be doing but that is just what the Lord has me doing.

Healing of my Mother!

God is good all the time and all the time God is good!

Yesterday my Lord and Savior healed my mother. He healed her heart. Every test that the Doctors have run on her the past 2 months showed signs of an old heart attack and major blockage. Well JESUS touched her.

He touched me....ohhhh... He touched me. And oh the joy that floods my soul. Something happened and now I know. He touched me and made me whole.

That is the song that mom is singing now.

I am the District 7 President Elect!!!

Sunday was our District Meeting for the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary. It was a wonderful day. My daughter "H" went with us since she is a Jr. Girl. We had a lot of fun with the raffle drawings and then the business portion of the meeting.
I was voted in as President for District 7 of the Department of Missouri. I will not take over the duties of President until June 20,2010. That is the day after the Department President is installed in office.
Tonight is the instalation of the Auxiliary and Post so I will be installed as Auxiliary President also. I am so blessed.
