Crafting

I love to craft. I am in the process of making 22 heart flags on plastic canvas. I inteend to give them to the ladies who will be my chairmen when I'm District 7 President in June '10. They are easy to make and inexpensive also.

Need to get busy

I really need to stop playing on-line today. I should finish my laundry and do up the breakfast dishes.

My mother came over this morning. She just lives next door. it is warmer today than it has been in a long time.

New Year Already???

I can't believe that it is already 2010. Where has the time gone? My middle son has started driving all by himself. He also brought home information for a class ring. I can rememebr when he started Kindergarten, which seems like only last year.

I ahve been very busy. My grandchildren do not live with me anymore. That is a good thing. They are happy and healthy. I was made a grandma on the 4th again. I have a beautiful grandson.

To camp. Or not to camp? That is the question.

Life is a funny thing sometimes.

I have been wanting to go camping for a long time now. I even made my reservations back on April 1st to spend the weekend out at the lake. Well...I have 2 of my grandkids living with me and I WILL NOT take them out in public with me anywhere. My granddaughter screams and throws a fit when she is out in the open for very long. She does so much hetter at home where she feels safe. Found this out when we spent the whole day at the park. It is one of the things we have to deal with when a child is mentally challenged.

So as it stands now, no camping. Ohh the sacrifices you make for your children.
